Born in Rome the 18 september 1967, graduated in Physioterapy in 1989 in University of Rome “ La Sapienza“. In 2011 he obtained a Master’s Degree Coordinating Functions Area Rehabilitation at “La Sapienza”.
In 1992 begins to work in San Giovanni Battista Hospital in the division directed by Prof. Sandro Michelini, starting a close collaboration with him in the treatment of all vascular and neurovascular diseases. Along this period he achieved a great experience in physical treatment of lympho-venous or arterial diseases and published and co-published lots of articles on national and international reviews including two books as author and co-author. Some presences also in national and international TV networks in medicine programs speaking of vascular rehabilitation. He also teach, in the last 20 years in lots of national and international courses and workshops regarding vascular rehabilitation. For two years he has been in the Collegio Italiano di Flebologia as consuellor. In the last eight years Giovanni Moneta has been also assistant editor of the European Journal of Lymphology and Related Problems.
Actually is a member of the Executive Committee of the European Society of Lymphology and Coodinator For Lazio Region of the Italian Lymphedema Framework.
