This prize will be awarded to the best papers presented by Young Surgeon Lymphologists (under 40 years of age) devoted to “Original Surgical Research and Relevant Clinical Experiences on Prevention, Diagnosis, and Surgical Treatment of Lymphatic Disorders”.

The amount of the Prize (One Thousand Euros) will be covered by Società Italiana di Linfangiologia (Italian Society of Lymphangiology) and will be awarded annually (according to the available funds of the Society). The Panel of Judges will be composed of five members: The President of the Italian Society of Lymphangiology, The President of the European Society of Lymphology, The President of the ESL Scientific Committee, The President of the ESL Congress, and the Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Lymphology and Related Problems (EJLRP).

Each candidate must submit a detailed abstract before the deadline of the Call for Abstracts of the Annual ESL Congress, specifying the title of the Prize (Professor Egidio Tosatti Award). Those candidates whose abstracts are selected by the Panel of Judges will be asked to transmit to each member of the Panel of Judges by email the entire article (written according to the Editorial Rules of the EJLRP) within 20 days of receiving the communication of selection.

The Winner of this Prize will be announced at the end of the Congress (after the oral presentations of the selected candidates) and the Winner will receive the amount of the Prize at the subsequent ESL Congress. The article will be published in the EJLRP.
