Dear phlebologists from all over the world,
The Czech Society of Phlebology, a member of Union Internationale de Phlébologie (UIP) and the Czech Medical Association J. E. Purkynč, is proud to invite you to the International Congress of UIP – European Charter Meeting, which will be held in Prague on September 15 – 17, 2011 at the Clarion Congress Hotel. The UIP Council entrusted our society with the organisation of this important metting in Kyoto (2007).
We hope to attract over 1000 delegates and prepare a highly scientific and intriging program, comprising traditional breakfast sessions, morning non-concurent sessions of selected papers, lectures and consensus reports, lunch symposia, while afternoons would be designated for concurent abstract sessions, workshops and poster discussions. Our special idea is to offer all UIP member societies a time to present their history as well as their present and future trends and activities. They could also honor their most distinguished past and present members.
In addition to the scientific activity, the organising committee prepared a great social program including the Welcome Reception and Galla Dinner in the Municipal House, a national cultural landmark, which is one of the most significant Art Nouveau buildings in Prague.
We hope to see you in Prague at what we expect to be an outstanding meeting…
