Dear Members and Friends of the ESL,
We have the grievous task to announce to you the death of our renowned friend Professor Michael Foldi.
The ship of lymphology has lost its very first pilot and it is with the greatest respect and sorrow that I inform you.
Michael Foldi has been the principal motor of our specialty and has fostered and directed a huge number of works with the greatest attention to the requisites of a strict scientific methodology.
His books and publications are an inexhaustible source of essential and still up to date knowledge.
He has been and will remain a mentor for us all .
Dear friends and colleagues receive the expression of our deepest sadness .
