45th Congress of the European Society of Lymphology
May 2-4, 2019, Brussels, Belgium
“Lymphology is not only lymphedema”

Dear Colleagues and Friends in Lymphology,

The members of the Belgian Society of Lymphology (and of the Group R&D Clinical Applications of Fluorescence Imagings)  are pleased to invite you to the 45th congress of the European  Society of Lymphology taking place in Brussels the 3rdand 4thMay 2019 with our annual meeting.

In the framework of parallel sessions, of round table sessions and of workshops, diagnostics, screenings and conservative as well as surgical treatments of lymphedemas will be presented and discussed… but with a special focus on the personalized approach of each patient.

Because lymphedemas are frequently secondary to surgery for cancer, parallel session will also be organized for the physicians, surgeons and physical therapists involved in the pre-therapeutic, peri-therapeutic and post-therapeutic managements of cancers and of their lymphatic metastasis and due to its growing interest with a special focus on Near Infra-Red imaging techniques.

In order to successfully realize these intentions, the Organizing Committee thus invites you to lend your support by submitting abstracts on the Congress topics, with contributions for discussion and with instructive casuistics.

Producers and distributors at the congress will have an opportunity to approach effectively the lymphological community, to introduce innovations, or to highlight advantages of their products.

I am looking forward to seeing you at the congress.

Yours faithfully,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee,

Prof. Pierre Bourgeois, M.D., Ph.D.
President of the Congress
President of the Belgian Society of Lymphology
